Arriving at Dubrovnik Airport (DBV)
Dubrovnik Airport is at Čilipi, south-east of the city and close to Cavtat. With a private Dubrovnik airport transfer, this is what happens on arrival:
- Send your flight number when you book. We track the flight from departure and the driver is at the airport 30 minutes before the scheduled landing.
- If the flight is early or late, the pickup moves with it. The first 60 minutes after touchdown are free waiting time, enough for baggage and passport control.
- Walk through the customs door into arrivals. The driver stands just past it with a sign showing your name.
- You also receive the driver’s mobile number, useful if a bag goes missing or you need extra time.
Routes from the airport
The shortest run is to Cavtat, about 10 minutes. The transfer to the Old Town takes about 25 minutes; cars cannot enter the walled town, so you are dropped at the Pile or Ploče gate nearest your accommodation. Lapad hotels take about 30 minutes and ACI Marina Komolac, where many charters start, about 35.
Longer routes go to Split, Trogir, Mostar, Kotor and Tivat Airport. The Kotor transfer and the Tivat and Mostar routes leave the EU, so every passenger needs an ID card or passport for the border.
Vehicles, luggage and child seats
- Mercedes E-Class for 1–3 passengers, V-Class for 4–7. Larger groups can travel in a second vehicle.
- The V-Class takes up to 7 large suitcases and 7 carry-on bags. Mention golf bags, bikes or other bulky items when you book.
- Child and booster seats are included. Tell us the children’s ages so the right seats are fitted.
- Tolls, parking and bottled water are in the price.
