Catamaran rental in Dubrovnik is the choice when deck space matters more than speed. A catamaran sits on two hulls, so it rolls less at anchor and in a swell than a single-hull boat, and the wide beam gives much more deck per guest. Both of our catamarans take up to 12 guests with a skipper, as private day charters.

Space, shade and stability

Lux Cat Allegra is 11.95 m (39 ft) long and 4.2 m wide, with a shaded saloon, a cockpit under the bimini for lunch and two bow trampolines for lying out over the water. Cat 17 Epidaurum is bigger: 17.15 m (56 ft) long and 6.05 m wide, with two full decks. Its upper deck is for sunbathing and the main deck seats the whole group in the shade, giving it the largest deck space in our fleet.

Routes at catamaran speed

Catamarans are slower than speedboats, so routes are planned around the time you want to spend at anchor. Allegra cruises at about 22 knots, Epidaurum at about 12 knots. The Elaphiti Islands boat tour is a natural fit, because Koločep, Lopud and Šipan lie close to Dubrovnik and leave plenty of time for long swim stops. Mljet is possible as a full day, with more time under way on the slower boat.

Groups and events

The open layout makes catamarans the usual pick for birthdays, stag and hen days, team days and other celebrations. Music runs through the Bluetooth speakers, or the premium sound system on Epidaurum, and the shaded areas keep a full group comfortable through the afternoon. What is included

Inclusions differ between the two boats, so check them before you choose:

• Allegra: skipper, fuel, water, soft drinks, beer and white wine, towels, SUP and snorkelling gear, insurance, final cleaning and hotel transfer in the Dubrovnik area.
• Epidaurum: skipper, fuel, SUP boards, towels, insurance and final cleaning. Drinks are charged separately, snorkelling gear is arranged on request and the hotel transfer is not included.

Choosing between Allegra and Epidaurum

Choose Allegra if you want the quicker boat, with drinks and the hotel transfer included. Choose Epidaurum if deck space on two levels matters most, for example for a party or a larger group that wants to spread out.
