What to expect.

Couples book us in three ways: for a symbolic ceremony or vow exchange on board, for a celebration cruise with the wedding party on the day or the day after, or for a private cruise for the two of them between family events. The boat is private, with views of the city walls and islands, and the crew handles the timing.

Inclusions differ across the fleet. The Cat 17 Epidaurum, for example, includes the skipper, fuel, SUP, towels, insurance and cleaning, but not drinks or hotel transfer. Add-ons also depend on the boat: everything is possible on the motor yachts, while speedboats and catamarans take decorations and premium drinks only. The boat matched to your event will have its exact inclusions listed in your offer.

Planning a wedding on a boat in Dubrovnik

A wedding on a boat in Dubrovnik is usually a symbolic ceremony or vow exchange at anchor, because the legal ceremony has to take place ashore. Most couples sign the paperwork ashore earlier the same day or before the trip, and we coordinate the boat timings with your officiant or wedding planner.

Guests and boats

Each boat takes up to 12 guests. For a larger wedding party, two boats travel in convoy on a shared route and anchor side by side for the ceremony.
The Ferretti 591 and the Cat 17 Epidaurum suit weddings best: the yacht for flowers, cake and catering, the catamaran for deck space.
On the motor yachts, flowers, deck decoration, a wedding cake, a photographer and live music can be arranged with local partners. On speedboats and catamarans, decorations and premium drinks only.

Timing the day

A 3–4 hour sunset slot gives time to board, pass beneath the Old Town walls in the evening light, hold the ceremony in a quiet bay and toast on the bow as the sun goes down. Some couples prefer a celebration cruise the day after, when the schedule is calmer.

Practical points: deck shoes or bare feet are easier on board than heels, and a light layer helps on the return run after dark. Photographers and decorations should be booked with the boat, as they are set up before you board.

Weather plan

We watch the forecast with you from about five days before. If conditions are not right, the cruise moves to another day within your stay or the deposit is refunded in full, and wedding days get priority rebooking. Up to 12 guests per boat. For a bigger wedding party we run two boats in convoy with a shared route and anchor side by side, or take just the two of you out the day after.

Can you arrange flowers, cake, photographer and music?

On our motor yachts, yes: flowers and deck decoration, a wedding cake, a photographer and your playlist or live music, arranged with local partners. On the speedboats and catamarans we can add decorations and premium drinks only. Tell us in your enquiry.

What happens if the weather turns?
